WHAT IS PRE-TREATING?

Pre-Treating is the process of preparing a garment with a PT (pre-treatment) fluid eithe rmanually or with an automatic device such as the Viper. This PT process acts like a "sealer" or "primer" on the shirt just like primering drywall so the paint doesn't soak into the drywall. The PT is the primer that will allow the white ink to sit on top of the garment and not soak into the fibers of the shirt. By allowing the ink to sit on top of the garment the white ink remains bright and the colors more vivid.

The Viper XPT pre-treatment machine was designed from the ground up to be unlike any other automatic machine on the market. We didn't bother to look at the other units on the market but designed what we would have wanted to use in our own shop. That's why the Viper is as innovative and user friendly as it is.
