To all our Valued Customers and Distributors:

Due to the nature of Ohio’s Statewide “Shelter In Place” order issued Sunday March 22nd, 2020 the i-Group Technologies facilities will be limited on shipping to our distributors and end users.

If someone does not answer, please leave a message. We will be trying to maintain “normal” operations during this time of unprecedented uncertainty and will followup with all contacts through phone or email in the order they are received.

Any orders placed will be fulfilled and shipped as quickly as possible. Due to the Shelter in Place order we will try to advise customers as to when and how the orders will ship. I will ensure and try to make sure that all orders go out on a timely fashion.

Viper MAXX DTG Pretreatment Machine and RFID Scanning Capabilities

In an effort to continually improve the Direct To Garment process i-Group Technologies has always tried to make pretreating easier. The Viper MAXX pretreatment machine is now also RFID capable with the addition of a simple and inexpensive RFID reader that plugs into the USB port of this evolutionary DTG pretreating machine.

RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is a way to communicate quickly and easily information needed to properly set the parameters for a shirt that needs pretreated. i-Group Technologies has been working in conjunction with RTP Apparel on new RFID technology that is now woven into the shirt as a thread - the RFID capabilities become part of the shirt and are completely undetectable. With this RFID capabilities comes the entire ability to pre-set the pretreatment parameters required for that particular garment prior to it ever getting to the pretreating station.

This allows employees running the pretreating department to focus on getting product prepared and sent to the printing department with fewer rejects and higher efficiencies. Obviously this option is best suited for higher volume, on-demand DTG printing facilities. Since all the parameters can be set on the backside via a company's integrated software system, each shirt can be programmed for that specific artwork.Other parameters can be added to the RFID capabilities to allow for ease in packing/shipping and label printing requirements to help reduce data entry errors and streamline the shipping process for the finished goods.

End users can utilize their own RFID tags or as an option RTP Apparel can utiltize our unique RFID tags built into the threads of the shirts. Two options are available - shirts without pretreatment and the RFID threads or Ready To Print DTG shirts that are already completely pretreated. The i-Group Technologies and RTP Apparel shirts' RFID can be encoded with a unique identifier so the artwork to be printed can quickly and easily be pulled up by the DTG printing operator. The operator only needs to bring the RFID encoded shirt close to the printer and utilizing your in-house software system can then automatically pull up the graphics and set all the printing parameters.

This is just another way i-Group Technologies and RTP Apparel are working to help make DTG printing easier and more streamlined.

Pay-As-You-Spray Purchase Program for the Viper MAXX

PAY-AS-YOU-SPRAY PROGRAM

We are introducing a new program for the Viper MAXX Pretreatment Machine called the Pay-As-You-Spray. This program allows for anyone who can qualify to purchase the Viper MAXX for $3,500 down (plus shipping) and then $200 per month for a 24 month period. How does it work?

The Purchaser agrees to pay $3,500 plus shipping for the machine. A contract signed by the purchaser agrees that the purchaser will pay via credit card $200 per month over a 24 month period. Every three months the Viper MAXX will then go into LOCKDOWN mode and the machine will be inoperable unless the user enters a valid LOCKOUT CODE. If the purchaser has paid for the previous three month period they will receive their UNLOCK code which they can enter into the Viper MAXX. If any or all previous payments have not been made, no UNLOCK code will be distributed and the machine will NOT function.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
We want the industry to produce the best possible DTG printed shirts that they can. The Viper MAXX allows for this with its unique and superior spray application. And getting started at $3,500 down (which is LESS than most other pretreatment machines) allows any shop to get off to a great start. A DTG print is only as good as the foundation it is printed on and pretreating is a KEY role in getting good prints.

WHAT IF I MISS A MONTH?
Well, your machine will lock you out the next Quarterly cycle we issue out UNLOCK codes. But, if you catch all your payments up, we'll give you the code so you can keep spraying. NO PAY - NO SPRAY. The machine will turn on, but you'll only get the LOCKOUT Screen. All functions will cease (you can't spray anything), but you can PURGE the system so that pretreatment doesn't sit in the machine and destroy it. Also, if you don't pay for more than 2 months, your warranty on the machine will be VOID - we can't warranty a machine that you let pretreatment sit in it for months at a time because you failed to pay per the agreement.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PAY ALL 24 MONTHS?
We issue you a PERMANENT UNLOCK Code. When the LOCKOUT Screen displays, you simply enter this code into the Viper MAXX and you are forever unlocked.

HOW DOES VIPER CONTROL THIS?
We have worked hard to ensure that the system works smoothly. Each machine has an algorithmic code specific to that machine. The UNLOCK code continually changes (think like Google Authenticate function) and is specific to your Viper MAXX. This way it keeps everyone on the up-and-up. We like to get paid for our equipment just like you prefer to get paid for shirts you've printed for a customer.
